Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Still Moving Pyschology (Pavitra Psychology Pty Ltd) website and services, including appointments booked with our clinicians.

By accessing this website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Website Information

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and is not intended as psychological, medical, or crisis advice.

Use of this website does not establish a psychologist-client relationship.

2. Emergency & Crisis Support

Still Moving Psychology does not provide crisis or emergency services.

Our email inboxes, website forms, and phone services are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent or emergency matters.

If you require immediate support, contact:

  • Emergency Services (000)

  • Lifeline: 13 11 14

  • Suicide Call Back Service: 1300 659 467

  • Your local mental health triage service

  • Your nearest hospital emergency department

3. Eligibility for Services

Our services are generally provided to adults aged 18 years and over.

Submitting an enquiry or booking request does not guarantee access to services. We reserve the right to determine whether our services are appropriate for your needs and may recommend alternative supports or referrals where appropriate.

4. Booking Appointments

By booking an appointment with Still Moving Psychology, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and up-to-date contact information;

  • provide payment details where requested;

  • comply with our cancellation and payment policies; and

  • attend appointments respectfully and appropriately.

Appointment availability, fees, rebates, and clinician availability may change over time.

5. Fees & Payment

Session fees are payable at the time of appointment unless otherwise agreed.

We may securely store payment details through our practice management or payment processing systems for the purpose of processing appointment fees, cancellation fees, payment processing fees or outstanding invoices.

Medicare rebates are subject to eligibility requirements and current Medicare arrangements. Rebates and out-of-pocket costs may change over time.

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid payment details and sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.

Payments made through Halaxy incur a 2% payment processing fee.

Outstanding invoices may result in future appointments being paused or cancelled until the account has been finalised.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 2 business days’ notice.

The following fees may apply:

  • Less than 2 business days’ notice: 50% of the session fee

  • Less than 1 business day’s notice or non-attendance: 100% of the session fee

For Monday appointments, notice must generally be provided by 9:00am on the preceding Friday.

Cancellation fees are charged because appointment times are reserved specifically for you and late cancellations often prevent another client from accessing support.

We understand unexpected circumstances can arise and reserve discretion to consider exceptional situations on a case-by-case basis.

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and offer an alternative appointment time where possible.

7. Appointment Reminders

We may send appointment reminders via SMS or email as a courtesy only.

Clients remain responsible for managing and attending their appointments regardless of whether reminders are received.

8. Respectful Behaviour

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for clients and clinicians.

Aggressive, threatening, discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or clinicians may result in appointments being cancelled or services being discontinued.

9. Telehealth Services

Telehealth appointments require access to a suitable internet connection, device, and private environment.

While we take reasonable steps to use secure platforms, no online communication platform can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted service.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they attend telehealth sessions from an appropriate and private location where possible.

10. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Psychological therapy outcomes vary between individuals.

While our clinicians provide evidence-based care, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, improvements, diagnoses, or treatment results.

Information on this website regarding therapeutic approaches, treatment methods, or areas of interest should not be interpreted as guarantees of effectiveness for any individual circumstance.

11. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to ensure website information is accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of website content at all times.

Information, fees, services, or clinician availability may change without notice.

13. Third-Party Links & Platforms

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party systems for bookings, forms, telehealth, payments, or communication.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or security of third-party services outside our control.

14. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
