Therapy that
moves you forward
Short-term psychology in Melbourne's inner north.
WHY STILL MOVING?It’s not forever therapy.
Not everyone needs to be in therapy for years.
Sometimes we just need a moment to reflect, get our bearings, and a gentle push back into the flow of life.
That’s why we developed a focused framework with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
↓Life keeps moving.
Therapy should help you move with it.
THE FRAMEWORKA clear path forward.

WHAT WE SEECommon symptoms.
We work with a wide range of people. From those feeling stuck, to those who are functioning but seeking something more.
Maybe you've always meant to try therapy and the time finally feels right. Maybe you're looking for a tune-up after previous work. Or maybe life feels heavy right now and you need a professional in your corner.
Whatever brings you here, Still Moving will meet you where you're at.

COMMON QUESTIONSGood things to know.
-
At Still Moving, most people see us for 6 to 10 sessions.
We clarify goals early and review progress as we go. If it becomes clear that you would benefit from support beyond this timeframe, your psychologist will discuss this with you openly.
Our aim is not to extend therapy unnecessarily, but to ensure you receive the right support.
-
With a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, Medicare currently provides rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Medicare rebates range from approximately $100 to $145 under mental health care plans.

Evidence-based psychological practice. A range of treatment modalities are drawn upon and individualised to the patient. These may include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), brief solution-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
We work collaboratively and adapt therapy flexibly to support focused shorter term work, rather than open-ended therapy.
